Refund policy

European Union 14 day cooling off period

If you made a purchase within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Enlarged 30-day return period 

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@asteya.life. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Please be aware you will need to bear the cost of the return shipping.

What we can do to support is to offer our discounted shipping rate. Values depend on your location, but our rates can be significantly lower than individual buyers can get on their own. 

In this case, we will provide you the shipping label and the value of the return shipment will be deducted from your refund amount. 

 

Non-EU Countries

We gladly accept returns from countries outside of the EU in same conditions as above, however, please keep in mind that the customer is fully responsible for checking that all applicable duties and taxes are charged to them directly if any should arise.

If we are requested to pay for additional taxes upon arrival of your returned merchandise, we will deduct this from the amount to be refunded.

International returns need to include the value and description of the goods returned for customs purposes. Please enquire with the courier on how to ensure the delivery of your parcel, since it needs to be cleared for customs. You are welcome to reach out to hello@asteya.life if you need documents, such as the invoice, for declaration purposes.

Please make a note of your tracking number to follow the progress of your return parcel with the courier of your choice. If any questions should arise regarding your return parcel, please reach out to the courier. We cannot take any responsibility for parcels which are unable to reach our warehouse.

Damages and issues

We invest great care and resources in making sure all our customers receive their goods in due time and right quality. however, accidents may happen.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If a goods return is needed, in this case the cost of the return shipping will be covered by us.


Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on:

  • perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants) if they are beyond their "best before date"
  • custom products (such as special orders or personalized items)
  • electronic goods, like our mindfulness classes for example
  • sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

In case of returns from countries outside of the EU, please be aware that the refund will not cover any customs taxes you may have paid at import. These taxes are collected by local authorities, please connect with a tax advisor for any further information.
