Throughout the retreat we will enjoy vegetarian meals, offering the body a gentle digestive reset and the opportunity to observe how it feels with lighter, nourishing food. For many participants, this becomes a natural detox and reset for the body and mind.
Why Our Nervous System Needs a Reset
In modern life, the nervous system is often in a constant state of activation and overload. Contributing factors include: the fast pace of modern life and mental overload, chronic stress, lack of time for rest and recovery, disconnection from the body and nature, constant stimulation through technology. When the nervous system is out of balance, symptoms such as chronic fatigue, anxiety, low energy, difficulty concentrating, inflammation in the body, and hormonal imbalances may appear. Through practices such as conscious breathing, somatic movement, deep relaxation, and reconnection with nature, the body can return to a state of balance, safety, and vitality.
