Grateful to have run 10+ MBSR groups since I've started teaching the accredited mindfulness program in 2020. Both my personal teaching experience and participants' feedback have been incredibly encouraging in following my path. That path is to facilitate for as many people as possible - awareness and taking responsibility for actions guided by gentleness, kindness, and compassion.

I do this by inspiring, educating, and coaching individuals from various walks of life: top leaders in organizations, high school teenagers, great teams, or ordinary people looking to reconnect with balance, well-being, and personal or professional effectiveness.

In over 22 years of professional experience and raising two children, one thing has consistently proven essential and rewarding: Approaching the soul of a person can be done only with gentleness! (read: without judgment/criticism). That's why I chose to teach the MBSR program, as translated from Eastern wisdom into the Western world by Jon Kabat-Zinn - because it requires a skill in reminding people how to look at themselves: with patience, kindness, acceptance, courage, and trust.

The way I use this skill and teach MBSR, following the official curriculum and practice standards, is inspired by what I have cultivated in my life so far: presence, authenticity, gratitude, and gentleness. It is also inspired by over 16 years of practice as a trainer and certified coach. I love to stimulate awareness and unfolding through questions and mirroring.

Calmness, happiness, balance, well-being, health, prosperity - all follow each time we understand more about ourselves and how we relate to others.

If you resonate with this approach or are curious about it, I invite you to journey together!

      What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the experience of being awake and alive, here and now, aware of our sensations, thoughts, and emotions. And from this awareness, a consciously chosen possibility emerges to respond with gentleness, kindness, compassion, and love.

      Why taking an MBSR course?

      • You have the opportunity to experience firsthand how mindfulness practices work for you in an organized, structured, and safe group setting for a duration of 8 weeks, under accredited mindfulness teachers' guidance
      • Created by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, at the University of Massachusetts Center for Mindfulness, back in 1979, being the most scientifically researched mindfulness program
      • Often referred to as the "golden standard" among the mindfulness programs
      • You can take the first steps in learning meditation on a scientifically proven basis, free from any religious connotations and with specialized support
      • Prerequisite for MBSR Teacher Training

      Who Should Enroll?

MBSR is suitable for anyone interested in mindfulness practices. Great for beginners and refreshing for advanced meditators.

The program is designed for adults who are eager to explore how mindfulness can be applied in their lives. The skills are simple and easy to learn. No required any previous meditation experience.

MBSR is globally recognized as more of a complementary approach to medical and psychological treatments rather than a replacement for them. It has proven to be effective in helping individuals dealing with anxiety, work-related stress, family issues, financial situations, cancer, chronic conditions and pain, depression, eating disorders, fatigue, grief, headaches, heart conditions, high blood pressure, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorders, and sleep disorders.

      What to expect?

      • Increasing awareness through the development of a personalized mindfulness training practice, intentionally directing attention to the experience of each moment.
      • Integrating attitudes of curiosity, receptivity, and empathetic/compassionate understanding towards our surroundings.
      • Cultivating the option to step off "autopilot" and the tiring and overwhelming tendency of constant "doing" to create space for "being."
      • Discovering our patterns of thinking and feeling and responding to stress in new, creative ways.
      • Developing skills that will help us remain open to whatever we experience, whether positive or negative, pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral. This allows us to respond to situations more attentively and from a state of presence, rather than reacting in difficult-to-control ways.
      • We will find that we can relate to our experience in a peace-inducing manner without resisting challenging situations that we cannot change.
      • For those aspiring to become MBSR instructors, this format is accepted as an initial step in MBSR Teacher Training programs.

      How is MBSR organized?

      • It is organized in the form of a workshop, involving a group of up to 12 participants who meet once a week, online via Zoom, over a duration of 8 weeks, in sessions of 2.5 hours each. Additionally, there is an extra day for a retreat in the second part of the program, the date of which will be determined collaboratively with the group.
      • Every week, participants are required to engage in daily practice at home, outside of the actual meeting day. This practice involves doing the meditations used in that specific week, sent by the trainer in audio format (mp3). This daily activity takes between 30 to 45 minutes each day (formal + informal practices). These daily practices contribute to an experiential learning for the participants.
      • Home practice plays a crucial role in the course dynamics, so I warmly recommend considering whether you can commit to a practice of approximately 45 minutes/day. Mindfulness is an experiential practice; the benefits are observed through practice, not through intellectual activities like reading or learning. To support your home practice, I will send you an email at the beginning of the course with Participant Material, and each week you will receive recordings of the meditation(s) to practice for that week. Home practice involves listening to guided meditations sent by the trainer (formal practices), self-reflection and note-taking about your experience, as well as practicing informal activities (eating mindfully, walking mindfully, etc.).
